Hi everyone! Well, I decided that since last week I didn't get out my third chapter, like I said I would, that I'd put out another chapter this week. I hope that everyone is okay now. I think this one is pretty short, but I tried my best. Thanks to my good friend, Lady Guinevere. You've helped me with this story a lot. You're a great friend. Read her story, "Ami's Diaries." It's REALLY good!! I love it!! Which reminds me, Write more of it!!!! Soon!!! Please, Guine! Thanks to Bettina, who is a great friend. I hope you like this part!!!! I'm very grateful that you are here for me! And especially since I've gotten to know you better. And finally, thank you to all of you who responded and told me how you liked this story. It means a lot to me!!!! Thank all of you, especially. Disclaimer-I don't own Sailor Moon. I never have, and unfortunately, I never will. She and her friends belong to big companies that will sue me if I steal her. But I do own all the characters I made up, so you may not take them!! I also own the story line, so if you use my idea, give me credit, all right? ----------------------------------------------------------------- To Lose Love- Part Four By Acacia Aben ----------------------------------------------------------------- Part Four Darien sat on a bench in the park, kicking stones into the water. He was depressed. Mina came up behind him, and sat down. He wasn't surprised to see her, the Scouts had probably sent her to get him to snap out of his depression. They had been doing that for awhile. "Hey Darien. What's up?" Darien answered glumly. "Nothing. Just thinking about Serena." Mina was quiet, than she said softly, "Darien, she'll be back, she said so. Any day now, she'll come walking into Raye's temple." Darien didn't even brighten up at that. "Like she was supposed to be back in a few weeks, right after she left? Come on Mina! It's been eight months. She's not coming back!" Mina shook her head adamantly. "You don't know that. She loves you. She knows you love her, she just probably isn't thinking straight. I know Serena. She's going to come back. She will." Darien snorted. Mina gritted her teeth. She was going to have to try harder. "When you forgot her after the battle with Beryl, who refused to give up on you no matter how much it seemed like you were never going to get you memories back? Serena. Who insisted you were good, no matter how much Beryl brainwashed you? Serena. Who has always known you love her, has never left you, no matter how much you hurt her? Serena. And was it her that told you that you still loved her despite the fact that you said it was over, when you had the dreams that told you to break up with her? Yes. She will always come back to you. She'll come home." Darien thought a moment, blinking back tears at the memories Mina had brought back. "But I went to far this time. I hurt her more than I ever thought I could." His voice because vicious. "She's never going to come back. Not ever. Not like we treated her. Raye insulting her at every corner, everyone not defending her, not disagreeing. Yelling at her every time she was late. We blew it, Mina." Mina didn't say anything. He heard the sound of her mournful tears. He felt a pang of guilt. He knew that they missed Serena just as much as him, and wanted her back. But her didn't apologize. He stared into the lake. After awhile he heard Mina get up and walk away. He didn't care. Not one bit. Not at all. @~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@ Serena screamed. "Get it out of me!!" Lisa held her hand, and Tommy was outside the room. Serena was having her baby. Lance stood beside the bed, he and Jennie were helping her with her breathing. Lance coached her, trying to ignore the screams and threats coming out of her mouth. "Breath, Serena. Calmly. In. Out. In. Out." Jennie winced. "Lance, don't think that's helping. And maybe Serena's hurting mom's hand that way she's squeezing it so hard. She may be in pain." Serena didn't actually care. "Just get the thing out of me!! I'm in pain!! Who cares about LISA's hand? Care about my PAIN!" Then the contraction ended, and she calmed down and apologized to Lisa for squeezing her hand, and to Jennie for yelling at her. The another contraction hit, and she started screaming again. Lisa gritted her teeth, and tried to forget about the pain. All the nurses and the doctor were telling her it was almost over, and she was screaming. Suddenly she felt a release. "It's out!!" The nurse said proudly, probably happy because Serena would stop screaming now. She is the best screamer the world will ever see. She was pretty good at crying, too. Very good. "You have a beautiful baby boy." Serena smiled and started to cry, out of pain, but mostly because she was so happy. "A boy." They handed her the baby. He was beautiful. He looked like Darien, with black hair and dark blue eyes. But he had her smile. She started to cry harder. Everyone smiled at her, and cooed at the baby. "He's beautiful, Serena," Lisa said in awe. "What will his name be?" Serena looked proudly down at her son. "Darien. Darien Tsukino, but we will call him Rien. What do you think?" Lisa had a peculiar expression on her face. Jennie smiled at Lance, and he nodded. "Rien. I think that's a great name!" Everyone agreed, and Darien 'Rien' Tsukino it was. @~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@ Lisa sat on her bed in her room, frowning at the mirror. "Rien. Why would she pick a strange name like Darien? Unless. . . " She smiled. Lisa had been trying to find out more about the girl she had come to love as her own daughter for a while. She may have just found the key. A man named Darien must be Rien's father. Lisa wasn't positive, but it was likely. More than likely, almost absolutely. Serena's eyes had held a tender, loving quality when she had said that name. As is that name belonged to someone she loved. And Lisa knew without a doubt that Serena loved Rien's father. She would have to love him because Serena would only be with someone if she loved them more than life. "Now all I have to do is pay attention. I may find out more." Lisa knew Serena was hurting inside. She had heard her crying at night. She smiled sadly. She knew it was wrong to snoop, but Serena needed someone to snoop, if she wouldn't go home herself. She needed someone to help her go home. Even if she didn't want to stay, she needed closure. Lisa nodded decisively. "All I have to do is find out where in Japan she lived, and find some way to go there without making her guess why we are going there." Lisa smiled gently at the thought. She might never see Serena again after she went back home, because Serena would probably stay if she could get over whatever was hurting her. Lisa brushed away the tear that was trailing down her cheek, and nodded sadly. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part Four, The End ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I know it was short, but I hope that since I already put out another chapter that was longer, that you all like it. Bye for now! Acacia
